Father & Sons Campout

Last weekend the boys and Ryan went on a father & sons campout with our stake. They went to a place called Watermelon park. It's a campground that is located on the banks of the Shenandoah River. The boys have gone every year for the past five years. They love fishing in the river, running around with friends, making smores over the camp fire, sleeping in a tent and let's not forget spending some great one on one time with Dad. (Ryan forgot to take the camera this year, so you'll have to picture the weekend in your mind.) We do have one family rule which is, in order to go camping on the Father & Sons, you must be potty trained. We figure it is more enjoyable for dad and the older boys if the youngest is old enough to enjoy it too. So Tommy and I enjoyed some great one on one time together. We went shopping and had a picnic dinner at the Lansdowne Town Center. We enjoyed talking and playing together. I can't believe how fast my baby is growing up.
